When an enchanted fairy waved her wand, it must have produced a beautiful melody, because right from my first memory, it was music, that was accompanying me throughout my life...I stood on the stage as a 5 year old and basically, I never stepped down. My Dad, a journalist, radio/TV talk show master, composer, actor should be blamed for the DNA I inherited. Besides music I have performed with, I created and produced radio and TV shows when living in Vancouver, Canada. A stage is a wonderful platform I feel I belong to; speaking to a crowd, spreading information and sharing what life has given me is something indescribable. And I thought I had a small part on the fact, that some of my TV show guests found a new path in their life, whether personally or professionally. But what I cared the most about, that quite a few animals found their homes through the broadcasted shows that I based on helping others. I am very much aware, that as a newcomer to a different country, I cannot have all of this. I am willing to start in the field where I will be needed. I possess TEFL 2 certificates and I can step to another stage of teaching English. I am in my early phase of learning Spanish, which I am ready to speak fluently soon enough.
I have said it in my previous post, I am from Slovakia, but the last 23 years I've lived in Canada. Here, my task is done. I need to move on and learn more about other cultures, meet new people, learn another language. I've chosen Spain. And after visiting Alicante province last month, I believe that I have found the place I want soon to belong to...
This forum I signed with a few weeks ago, has been very welcoming, encouraging and mostly, helpful. My mind is being cleared out, thanks to responses from you. If you find a tiny guidance for me at this moment, I'll be so greatful for it.
