WILL OF THE PEOPLE

DIDNT KNOW WHAT WE WERE VOTING FOR

PEOPLES VOTE

ENOUGH!

Yet again the people of the UK have spoken and it's time to get on with the job.

Been saying this for a long time, yet the remain camp (I voted remain) couldn’t accept the ‘will of the people’ .... thankfully our system works, last night proved that....it’s done, PLEASE let’s get on with it.

Getting the DUP of their backs allows it to get done..... Corbyn being history and Swinson has got the wrath of the people with her silly stupid stance.

The Scottish midget needs to get over to Brussels and work out which euro note she wants her face on as she sure as hell can forget about being tied to sterling. The Scottish referendum is coming, let’s see where that goes.

Of those who voted, 53% voted against the Conservatives (BBC, 13/12/19).

So 53% voted for parties opposed to Brexit or seeking reevaluation of Brexit.

Yeah, I know. That's how our system works.

I will keep an eye on the inevitable economic and societal damage from my place in the sun.

Spot on Kelvin and Ray - the failings "of a first past the post" voting system.  It was a democratic vote and it should be respected, but let's at least be honest about the results: 43.5% does not represent the "will of the people".

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Dave,

I'm not taking issue with the election result per se, just the inaccurate title of the thread.

Best wishes,

Kim
