Hi Dave,

if you are fully vaccinated and flying to England - you have to:

- complete the UK passenger locator form:

https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk

-  book a day 2 lateral flow test.

If you are flying your airline will probably have some discounted deals on their website for cheaper tests. The test must be booked before you fly and the reference number entered onto the locator form.

Note that from Feb 11th the rules are changing, full details of what to do on the UK Gov website link below. Info for both fully vaccinated and non-fully vaccinated travellers. There are also links to the other UK countries and their rules, which may differ from England.

Rgds,

Aitch.

Can you supply a few more details, so you can get a direct answer.

Date of travel

Country you are travelling to  as the rules are at present slightly different for the home countries.

Whether you are fully jabbed and hold a valid covid certificate

Lynn

Hi Dave,

as you are fully vaccinated then the first part of my post above applies to you for return to the UK.

Make sure you complete the UK locator form and enter the reference number you will get from the UK test provider otherwise you may be stopped from flying.  If you have not already booked a test I can recommend  Simplytestme, I used them for my last day 2 antigen test which I did in October last year, they were fine. Cost £12.

https://www.simplytestme.co.uk/

Unfortunately you are returning just before the UK drops the day 2 test requirement (on Feb 11th).

Have a good trip

AItch.

We booked a test with indigo travel test who posted them to our home they have to be done within two days of being in uk at a cost of £15 each really simple you also need to register with uk government for health indicators in the 48 hour window prior to flight and add a reference number given when booking your covid test. Make sure you download the form as you need to show it as you board the plane

Hope this helps

As far as I'm aware all tests are scrapped from 14th, February but you will still need to fill in a location form within 48 hours of travelling.
