Hello guys.
Just looking for some ideas in regards moving to Costa Blanca I love Benidorm but looking for something similar in southern Costa Blanca all information would be greatly welcomed. I love the hustle and bustle. Looking for something that's busy enough all year round. Although I have started the ball rolling now I will not be making the move until next year.

start at Benidorm & move out north ish (unless you have a boat). Still founding north Spain..

I found the properties in the north of Costa Blanca quite expensive hens I thought I would find something similar in the south. Thanks so much for your reply.

I live about 1 hr. driving south of Alicante where we enjoy - no doubt - the mildest climate ever, absolutely no heating costs. Check out areas between Cartagena and Mazarron or even Aguilas. Good luck.

Thanks Kim I had torrevieja in mind I'm going to the exhibition in September in Birmingham for a place in the sun hopefully it will help me make up my mind.

I’ve just joined this forum. Please see my posts as perhaps some info there for you. Have you spent any time in or near Alicante city? We love all that it has to offer. Sea, blue skies, beach, good shops, great transport, 20 mins from airport, open all year.
What more could we want?
Good advice would be to rent in a few areas before deciding where to buy.

We went to Birmingham to “A place in the Sun” 3 years ago. The TV people were very nice and helpful. However only UK residents can actually take part in the TV show. The exhibitors with Spanish properties to sell were interested in budgets of £200,000+. I’d imagine that it costs the exhibitors a large fee to take part hence the high end estate agents being at the show. It was an enjoyable day and we came away with brochures, contact numbers etc..

Ahh cheers thanks so much for all that information. It sounds amazing but I'm also scared. I'll need to learn the language find a job maybe get a small mortgage so I'm hoping the exhibition will help me find the answers to all my questions.

Wow that is way above my budget so is it worth my while do ye think going to the exhibition then.
