My goddaughter left her passport in easyJet flight, couldn’t be found. We fly home tomorrow but emergency doc not ready til Thursday, any point blagging it? She’s a beauty & she gets away with murder as she’s so charming , but easyJet are a breed alone? Any advice from persona experience appreciated TIA

Strictly speaking I think you only need a piece of official government ID with a photo not necessarily a passport, does she have a photocard driving licence?

Too late now but I've long advised taking a photo or scan of your passport which you then email to yourself, then in case of loss you only need to be able to get online to retrieve it.

Yes it's only a copy but having at least something to show will significantly enhance your chances of 'blagging'.

Thanks so much, we have a photo of the passport no driving license. We’ve booked flights & emergency docs for Friday, not sure if we will risk blagging it, I’m leaving them (her & her sister) to it! Thanks though 😉

My son got to Spain and back on an expired passport a few years ago. The airline did notice it had expired but still let him fly.

I'd say her chances are slim, given tge proximity of the B-word date. How did it go?.  🤞

Thanks for replies, got an emergency document from embassy in Alicante it takes 48 hrs FYI in future!  But it was straightforward & they were very helpful. £100
