Advice needed. I received an SMS text message this morning purporting from correos asking me to pay for a receipt of €2.64. I had to click on a button to pay. Once I clicked it took me to a website instaprint asking for my card details but not address and for € 1.99. The page is supposed to be from Correos with headed paper but I couldn’t click on any of the parts on the page other than the card detail boxes. I’m not aware of any delivery I’m expecting from Correos and it isn’t giving me the option to collect. Has anyone heard of this, is it a scam.

Scam. Correos don't ( normally) send via msg. Search on "scam" sites, scambusters etc. V

Absolutely, a very common scam.

Unless you are expecting a text or know 100% for sure whom a text is from NEVER follow links in them.

I had the same this morning. Blocked the sender and deleted the message.

Definitely a scam. Delete it. If Correos have any parcels etc that require import taxes or customs clearance they will come to your house with the package or customs letter.

It is a scam, same thing happened to me ages ago and I went to the Correos and they told me it was a scam, delete it and any others the same.

Hello

I had a similar message a couple of weeks ago from "Correos" . & I was expected a delivery at that time.

I didnt respond but called into La Mata Correos the next day & she confirmed it was a scam & said she sees these messages from customers regularly....just delete.
