The nearest Dog Park that I know of is in Los Balcones off the CV95 as you leave Torrevieja, taking the left turn at the roundabout after you have passed the Hospital.

Hi Zackie15,
It's Parque de Los Balcones on Avenida de la Asuncion. The park runs almost the full length of the road and the dog park is nearer the top - once you cross Calle Carla Vaquera, drive up about 200m and park on the right hand side. When you cross to the other side of the road, you should be looking down on it - it's a fully enclosed area with dog agility equipment.
Have fun!
Kind regards,
Kim

I would think that the dog park would still be classed as a public area so the law would still apply. Spanish laws and regulations on breeds on the PPP are more strict than in the U.K. and are rigorously enforced.

Hi Zackie15,
I would check this specific point with the Police when you apply for your licence. The dog parks are fully enclosed with gates, so if your dog is muzzled, he would still be confined, if/when not on the lead. Best to get a definitive answer from the Police.
Kind regards,
Kim

Kim, not wishing to be awkward but if the dog is confined in a fenced off dog park it is still in direct contact with other dogs and their owners so in my view still deemed to be in a public area, as you suggest best to get clarification from the Police.

I understand, John, but I think this shows that neither of us know the definitive answer, hence my suggestion that Zackie15 asks the Police.
We used to use the dog park at Los Balcones, until we found the one at Guardamar, and we've been in both when owners have come in with muzzled dogs that they've let off their leads - it wouldn't have occurred to me to tell them their dog had to remain on its lead. Negotiating the agility course could be tricky with a dog's owner attached to its lead! ;o)
Kind regards,
Kim
