I’ve always booked and paid online, you can also download their app TrustOne and book through that if you quite tech savvy happy.
If not, you can pay at the test centre and I believe they do walk in tests if you show your boarding pass, I haven’t done that although a friend did so maybe just check if that’s your preference.
Same goes for the results, they can ping you on the app, it also gets emailed to you or you can ask for an old school print out.
The guidelines I believe are no sooner than 48 hours before departure for uk.

I called them yesterday and told them I was flying in Wednesday and could I have my test before I fly at 11am and the told me I had to come the day before, results take up to 12 hours. 🤷♀️

If ur only in La Marina for 38 hours must u do a LFT before flying back to uk only going over to sign pap

Yes you do....
Because your not transiting through the airport. You are a actually leaving the airport for over 24 hours.
You must also do...
From 7th December a PCR test or Lateral flow test 48 hours before your flight back to the UK.
Also book your day 2 test to get a reference number for the locator form.
Also you have to isolate until the test comes back negative.
I've just filled my locator form in today. Hope this helps.
