Hi All

Can someone please let me know as of 12pm today,  what are the restrictions for bars and restaurants,  ie: how many at a table,  what capacity is allowed, ordering at counter,  etc etc.

Apologies if this had been asked before.

Diana

These are the new rules for the Comunidad de Valencia -  taken from the N332 Facebook page.

⚠️ The Valencian Generalitat decrees the perimeter lockdown of the autonomous community from TODAY 🗓 Friday from 🕒 12:00 h, and for a period of 7 ️ days. You won't be able to leave or enter the territory of the Valencian Community.

👉 Likewise, the Sanitat Conselleria, GVA has published a resolution with the hardening of measures against #Covid19 in those municipalities belonging to the GVA Department of Health Orihuela, including #Almoradí. These measures will come into effect from 00,00 p.m. on October 31 and will apply for 14 days.

We highlight the following measures:

✅ In wake, capacity of 1/3 with a limit of 25 people in free spaces and 15 in closed spaces.

✅ In celebrations, the limit will be 30 % of the capacity with a maximum of 30 people.

✅ In commercial locations, it is limited to a maximum of ⅓ of the local capacity and also in markets is limited to 50 %.

✅ In hospitals and restaurants, consumption inside will not be able to exceed ⅓ of the capacity and consumption on the terraces 50 %.

✅ In libraries, archives, visitors and cultural activities or centers, it will not exceed 50 %.

✅ In sports activities not regulated by the Superior Sports Council, you will not be able to exceed 1/3 of the capacity, guaranteeing ventilation. Group activities won't go from 6 people. No wear room or showers allowed. Competitions and sporting events will be without public.

See the Resolution with all the measures coming into effect at the link below: http://www.dogv.gva.es/datos/2020/10/30/pdf/2020_9092.pdf

Hi Diana,

Maximum party of 6 at restaurant tables, no bar service, masks must be worn at all times, until your drinks/food is served.  If you need to leave your table to use the bathroom, you need to put your mask back on.  This applies to terraces, as well as dining inside.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi, thank you guys,

In short,  in my restaurant,  I can only have 50% on my terrace, and 33% inside, did I understand that correctly? What's the rule about ordering food or drink at the bar,  or take away? Is this permitted?

I've lost track of what I can and can't allow. 😣

Hi Diana,

No, you can't allow customers to order at, or eat at the bar, table service only.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Kim, thank you,  my husband Graham read somewhere yesterday that you could order take away,  and pay bills at bar,  So this is not the case? He will have to do a little more walking🤗

If someone comes in for take away,  do we tell them to take a seat (on our limited seats anyway🤨) then take order?

Sorry, Diana, I don't know the official line on takeaways, but I think you'd have to make it work within the current rules.  For example, when my husband collects one from our favourite Thai restaurant, he orders it over the phone, but always goes down there straight away and has a beer on the terrace while he's waiting.  That works well at 7pm, but not sure what he'd do if it was later and the restaurant was busy 🤔 The owner brings the takeaway to him on the terrace with the bill.

Kind regards,

Kim

It's in Guardamar del Segura - bit of a drive for you from Villamartin, but the only authentic Thai food we've tasted in Spain and so much better than all the so-called Thai restaurants run by Chinese in the tourist areas:
