Just had 2 women trying to get into my property. Unsure if Spanish or eastern european. Looked like mother & daughter. Both eating takeaways - not mcdonalds. I asked why they were trying my gate and they denied it. They hoofed back to a white car where a big burley man was outside waiting for them. I got my phone & made sure they saw me take a photo. (Rubbish of course, I am no photographer) but wanted them to scarper being an elderly woman on my own. Obviously they are on the prowl looking tor targets. Please be careful and vigilant. I have lived here for many a year and not seen this in my area, but I have heard that there has been a few break ins locally. Please be careful and do not let this scum spoil your dream in Spain xx

Good for you Alice. Your quick thinking with the phone will hopefully ensure that you won't personally have to have dealings with these despicable individuals again.Highlighting this on here will hopefully keep others vigilant.

if we keep vigilant & post these replies, it can only help others & the better chance of catching them. The more information time & date, re cars, car numbers, description etc.It may jog other´s memories & know where the thieves are operating.

Thank you so much for your support and all your replies. I am just miffed that I did not get a clear photo!. New phone lol Hopefully they will think I got them. I remember when they used to operate beachside where the arches are to the Orihuela Costa resort. Had no reports of that lately. they are looking further afield. Just be vigilant. We haven´t worked hard for years for this scum to take what we have away from us. Take care everyone and just enjoy Espania! I certainly do. x
