Does anyone you know what the Covid rate of new cases is per 100,000 for Moraira or the close region over the last 14 days? I can only see large regions of Spain when I search the Internet and wondered there is more local info.  I’d like to come over with my parents next week but need to understand the risk for them compared to where we live.  If there is a website with this info please let me know.

Hi Janek

I’m not sure of the figures for Moraira, however, we arrived 2 weeks ago and feel very comfortable here. We’ve a second home and have found that generally, people are respectful of the requirements; masks in public and social distancing. Sometimes you just have to go with what feels right for you, regardless of “figures”. 🤪🥂

Hi Janek,

You can check the status of Covid-19 cases in individual towns on this website - scroll down the list of "municipos" on the left hand side until you get to Moraira - it takes a few moments for it to load the towns and is easier to read on a tablet or PC, rather than a phone:

https://icvgva.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/3a3115ad642a4516b0928f21e395b32d

Taking Agost as an example, since the authorities started recording numbers at the beginning of the pandemic, Agost has had 49 cases in total, it has 13 active cases and 1 death.

Kind regards,

Kim
