Legal property
Hi, we are coming out in a couple of months to initially rent them hoping to buy a villa in the region. Just wondering if most of the properties in the area are legal, and if there are any big pitfalls I should look out for

Hello Sandra,
I think you best ask this question to the lawyer you should take on in buying your property.
Forget forums for this, there nobody can see WHAT you are buying (Paper-wise)
All the best,
Trev.

We bought a property in Crevillent in the campo. Our solicitor insisted we have one that is legal, as not many are around here, so our property now conforms to regulations, like a new septic tank to EU regulations, the pool on the deeds etc. and has a habitation certificate. It took 12 months for all of the work and paperwork to be done, but Oh so worth it in the end.
