Bad Airport parking experience with low cost parking.

Having been a loyale customer of Low Cost Parking/We Park for three years I prebooked and paid online via there website as usual and parked the car with them on 6/6/21.

Upon my return on 4/7/21 at 22.00hrs I was informed that they required payment to release my car as they could find no confirmation of my payment and unless I could prove payment or pay again would not release my car.

The car battery was flat and would not start and we had to get a taxi back to our apartment.In the morning I returned with my Bank statement as proof of payment but was told that I still had to pay again and write explaining the situation to to there manager Bruno.

Four days later he responded admitting there fault and advised that he would refund the payment personally and immediately to my Bank.

Three weeks later and still no refund and no response from him or his staff to my emails.

There are more cowboys around here than the wild west! Please be careful in ALL of your transactions.

A lot of 'businesses' now need to recoup their losses following the unfortunate circumstances over the last couple of years...

Keep naming and shaming ALL cowboys. It will be their loss, If Cowboys have a Facebook account page leave a post, they will not like it as many people check out Facebook for reviews!!! Send them a email informing them of your intensions, unless they refund you direct.

When it was just we park they had a good reputation and indeed I started using them following several recommendations. It looks like standards have slipped with the low cost parking ‘take over’. Have you been using the email address: [email protected] to get a response from the manager as the we park one seems to have been dropped?

I emailed them in early July as I wanted to collect my car and, to be fair, they quickly replied and the car was ready including the battery charged (or at least enough charge to start) on my arrival day.

Have you had any better success since your original posting? As Peter3473 mentioned, they won’t like poor reviews, as parking at the airport is pretty competitive.

After ignoring four emails from me over three weeks I sent them a final email advising Bruno the manager that I would name and shame them and take action to recover the money.

It finally done the trick and the money was refunded into my bank account although he insinuated it was my fault and that he had tried several times to refund the money.?

Not sure how it thinks it was my fault when he admitted it was there fault and would refund back to my account, yet it took him three weeks to action.

As you say before the take over "We Park" were 1st class and could not fault them but after this experience I shall not be using "Low Cost Parking/We Park again.

I’m glad that at least you had your money returned even if it turned into quite a battle. I can certainly understand that you won’t be using them again!
