My wife Jane and I have purchased a 2 bedroom apartment in this lovely village, we will be using it as much as possible and our children, ( on there own with grandchildren). We are both retired late 60s and 70. A friend of ours has an apartment which we have used frequently and that’s the reason we have purchased ours. We have a little bit of decorating to do to put our stamp on it. We are from Ascot area in Berkshire and fly from Gatwick. In the numerous times we have visited we have made a few friends and are looking to spending more time here.

I would just like to say how helpful this forum is.

Hello Mick & Jane

Why not join the Casta Expats group &  make friends in the area.  Watch for our notices, no subs, no rules, no committee.

Kind regards

Richard

Hi. Welcome to the lovely Vega Baja area. We live just down the road in Los Palacios and used to live just down the road from you in the UK in Windsor! Do get in touch if you need any information or help as we've been in the area for about 15 years now so know our way around, so to speak.

Daya Vieja is lovely and we nearly bought here, but circumstances and unethical estate agents meant it fell through. However, we are extremely happy with our house now, so all's well that ends well.

Hi all.

Just viewed a lovely little place in Daya Nueva. I really like it and the bonus is it has a pool on the roof!!!

Just wondering if I'd meet people as I'm a social person and love company. Don't like sitting around for to long!!

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Jacqui

Hi Mick ...

We are going to be first timers to Daya Nueva this year .. we have been going to Algorfa for 10 years and fancied a change ..

Any bars restaurant tips please to a Fellow Ascot resident ( bet you don’t miss royal week 😂😂).

Do any bars have TVs that show English football ( hubby asked that one).

Any nice walks we can take 2 13 year old on or maybe bike hire?

Thanks for your time xx

Nicky
