Hi, I have just had a knee replacement. I am coming over to Daya Vieja on January 14th for four weeks and need an exercise bike to work out the new knee, I don't need anything fancy and wonder if anyone has one to sell or loan me one for four weeks and I will happily pay for the privilege. Thanks

Alison

I had 2 new titanium knees 5 years ago and my knees are brilliant, the best exercise is walking up and down stairs and sitting on your bed and swinging each lower leg in turn over the edge of the bed

Thanks for the advise. I am swinging my legs and very mobile. It's four weeks now and I still only can bend to 70 degrees 😩. I live in a three storey house so the stairs shouldn't be a problem. Do you remember when and how you got your bend. Thanks alsion

Alison you need to be 90+ degrees leg bend otherwise the muscles will grow underneath the kneecap, so just keep trying and trying or if you can stand upright and hold your bodyweight try using your weight to increase leg bends, you must keep trying best of luck barry

sitting at the computer reminded me of another trick sitting on a normal chair and feet on the ground use one of your legs to hook the other leg and push it back till it hurts and hold as long as you can, then the other leg, you can also when leg bent raise your backside off of chair and use your body weight and hold. bio-oil is good for the scars and they look pretty good now. YOU MUST KEEP TRYING

Thanks Barry. Fed up. Physio was cross today as she thinks I am about 80 degrees. She said sitting with my feet up when resting is undoing the good. Hey ho. Feet down now. Lol
