Just wondering what people are doing to get some form of exerceise since we can't get out and about? Two weeks of food combined with inactivity might have some undesired consequences!

Do you have stairs? Walk up and down them, a few more times each day.
Got a pool? If too small for swimming try floating. Floating is great for core muscles and strength, and from this, all other areas of the body improve.
A good stretching regime of about 5-10mins 2-3 times a day will help stop joints and muscles stiffen up.
Sit-ups, lunges, squats and pushups (maybe from the knees not feet) is a great all-over workout in a small space.
Remember though: Short term weight gain from short term lifestyle change is pretty easy to fix, but even a short while in isolation can have a long term impact on mental health, and mental wellbeing is far more important than physical.
Even though you might not be able to leave your house use resources like this forum, video chat rooms and so on to stay connected with others. I work from home as a matter of course, and if I find myself feeling isolated (happens from time to time) I find video chat rooms a great solution (after long walks with the dogs, which I appreciate isn't an option for you).
There are loads of free chat room sites out there, many requiring no signup: You can just log in, create a video "room", then share the link to the room with others who can then log in. You can then chat via video or text. I'm a member of a few aimed at fellow web designers, and when I'm in the mood I fire up the webcam and just leave it connected and open, then chat with who else is around.
Things like this can make the difference between and a good and bad day, when it comes to your mental health.
Obviously, be careful with some chat rooms: Lots are full of kids, many full of idiots and most have "adult" rooms, that you are best avoiding. But there are a lot of good options out there.
I can't stress this enough, as someone with experience: Look after your mental health. :-)

I just walked around the pool and up and down the side steps half a dozen times.
Going IN the pool is a step too far at the moment! Think I've become soft, living here......

No excuses Ray. 🤨
The virus is not airborne the experts tell us. So you are lucky as a walk around your own pool would probably be beneficial.
Stay safe 😊

Was fairly relaxed about a fortnight lockdown but feeling quite alarmed now about it being extended especially as we were due family visitors in April.

Please don't feel alarmed.
Be glad the visitors were not due this week!
They should be able to reschedule.
Follow how long its taking China to return to normal. 4 months so far.
Then we will begin to see some light.
Listen to World experts.
