We are thinking of a working town or village that has plenty of amenities, shops, bars, restaurants and a British expat community to socialise with. We are considering Daya Vieja, Daya Neuva, Rojales, Almoradi, Dolores. Would appreciate guidance on where is the best place to live.

Hi, cant really say where would be best as it really depends what you want but a good place to look at apartments etc can be found at the below link.
I would suggest you rent first in an area you think you might be interested in.
