As you may well know, Daya Vieja is a tiny village but you may not know that it plays host to a brilliant little Indian restaurant. We have been several times and if you have a fussy 'English food only' eater in your party (like we do) they will accommodate and do a great chicken and chips. It is also very family orientated. Well worth a visit.

Whoops, that was very remiss of me. The name of the Indian restaurant is... Welcome Palace C/Generalísimo, No 5. Daya Vieja, Alicante. Tel;- 600376271 / 865774607 they also do a take away service with a free bottle of wine with orders €17.

Hi all, the Indian (Welcome Palace) has now moved out of the village (Daya Vieja) so sadly no drinking alcohol as not within walking distance.

Excellent food Poppadoms chutney tray/ any starter/main course/ Ice cream or coffee plus drink €9.95 all night.

Hi,
Happy new year everyone.
Welcome Palace is now based at the island of the CV860/CV91 to Rojales. It is where the old restaurant (I think it was called El Tayo, Los Palacios).
