We a hiring a villa near Catral next year to celebrate 50 yrs wedding Anniversary. All our family are coming, 20people, and I wondered if anyone new where it was possible to buy meat and drinks from at a reasonable price.

I think they only let trade in now?
Also you have supermarkets locally and there is English butchers in Benijofer and Quasda .

Try Sean Bell,butcher's in La Marina, they also deliver large quantities. Hope this helps.

No.
Spoke to their delivery driver just a week or two ago in Catral and they are perfectly happy to sell to the general public, it all depends on what you want.
Just beep at the gate and they will let you in.

We have found Family Cash is very good for large amounts of meat.
If you want good quality meat, try Hamilton's Butchers in Benijofar, which is only two or three miles from where you are staying.
