Installing Second Sky + box

We had our English TV installed by the SAT Guy but now want to add another Sky box in the apartment in our underbuild. The cabling was already there so we bought a new double LNB and attached the cable and the box but we can't get a signal. We have tried it with two other freesat boxes and our original Sky+box (which works OK on the cabling by the Sat Guy and the new LNB) and none work. We have tried it with a short length of new cabling bought from AKI and that doesn't work either. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm not a TV or Sat engineer. As a matter of interest are you using an existing dish?

Could be the second port on the LNB is not working?

Swap cables and see if the working cable and sky box works on that port?

If that works, then it will be your cabling / connections that are not correct.
