Hello, I understand you can’t get a tram from Denia to Benidorm, one has to go to the next town. Please can anyone tell us the name of the town we must catch the tram and where we would find the tram stop. We are only here a short time on holiday. Many thanks.

Hi  If you go to the Tram Station in Denia or the Tourist Information they will be able to give you details.  At the moment there is a bus taking you from Denia to Teulada Tram Station  and then the Tram direct to Benidorm, it is a lovely scenic journey (make sure you sit on seaside of tram) they will also be able to give you the time schedule for the return journey.  Enjoy Hope this helps  Gillian  PS  If you dont want to go as far as Benidorm Altea is a lovely place to visit too

Thank you very much.

Not relevant for your visit this time but I noticed a couple of forum members subscribed so thought I would add this....

The tracks from Calpe through Benissa to Denia have been undergoing upgrade to accommodate the new rolling stock. The tram station at La Xara - the stop before Denia - has been modernised and the new track is visible in both directions. Pretty sure I read somewhere that the line will be open sometime later this year or early next year.

Those of older vintage may know that this line was known in decades past as the Lemon Express and it was a holiday treat much enjoyed as the old trains rattled slowly up and down the coast offering panoramic views of the Med coast and the towns below.

Thank you to those who have replied so far. Another question if I may.

Is there plenty of parking at Teulada tram stop?
