Hi Everyone,

We are back in Denia for a holiday on 20th July, we are aware of general rules we’l need to adhere to, but could anyone please clarify these few rules are active in Denia?

1. Is social distancing 1.5m?

2. Do you need to book a spot on beaches?

3. Are face masks mandatory in restaurants and on beaches? Presumably there’s a few open now!

4. Do you need to wear mascarills generally walking the streets?

5. Do you need to wear gloves and mask in supermacados?

Thanks in advance, it’l be very helpful in preparation for our holiday.

Best,

Nick.

Have a look at the N332 Facebook page as they have been keeping us up to date with all the official regulations.   It is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people.

The wearing of masks, not just carrying them, is mandatory if you are to be within 1.5 metres of anyone.   Individual town halls have their own regulations for their own beaches, some are marked with individual spaces but some are not.

Most supermarkets do not insist of the wearing of gloves but most provide hand sanitizer to be used before entering.

Best,

We always carry masks when out and about in case we find ourselves in a situation where we can't social distance.

Its helpful to carry some gloves or sanitizer in case you touch a surface like the key pad on an ATM or any other surface and can't wash your hands.

You will be required to sanitize your hands when entering any establishment, get yourself some good quality hand cream as hands get very dry with the constant use of sanitizer.
