Flights to Spain

I've been reading on a different expat forum that loads of their flights have been cancelled. They've then re-booked and again cancelled.....then waited for refunds, which never seem to arrive!!

Everything seems to be very upsetting for travellers just now.

My wife's daughter and her children flew here from Edinburgh on Wednesday, as scheduled, without a problem. She said that the plane was only about one third full.

That's useful to know thank you. 

Which airline was that please?

I think someone on this forum said that some of their flights had been cancelled recently, but fortunately that didn't happen to my visitors.

My neighbour flew from Stansted to Alicante the day before yesterday with Ryanair and stated the flight was half full and there were no problems at all and all on time. But yes in passed months my wife had had her flights cancelled and had to reschedule bookings at small extra cost and hopes to fly in September and December, fingers crossed.

We flew from Edinburgh last Wednesday and there were only 39 people on the plane.

It feels really safe here as the rules are being enforced unlike the UK.

I think flights booked months ago are at risk of being cancelled as they're consolidating them.

We flew here from Newcastle on Ryanair last Saturday as scheduled. 23 Passengers. All good, on time and felt well managed and safe.

We flew back to Bristol from Alicante on 27th August. The Airport at both ends were quiet during our afternoon journey with less than 50 people on the flight. We did note on arrival at Bristol that a couple of Irish tongued women with children were not allowed admission until they completed the UK border track and trace visa. We also were contacted that day by our son who has already had his return flight to Rome on 15th September cancelled and has opted to go Rome..ing in the Brecon Beacons instead. I don't know how long these airlines can hold out.
