Am due to fly on Thursday 30th, the first day of the second batch of 3-day strikes. Has anyone had experience of flying from Alicante to UK on any of the last 3 strike days (Fri, Sat, Sun) and know what percentage of flights are going? I´m fearful of only receiving a cancellation notification email the day before or even on the day itself and have to get there on 30th without fail, can get no helpful info from RyanAir website or chat service... advice please!! Many thanks everyone.

It's just the Spanish based staff that are striking which has little affect on UK flights.

If you look on Alicante arrivals or departures you can see any cancelled flights today and yesterday. I haven't looked all through them but they seem to be OK.

Thanks, that´s encouraging but as mine is the first flight out in the day (8.55am) it will indeed be the Spanish based staff that would be manning that flight, surely? Hence my additional concern.

No, all UK staff. Spanish staff do other routes.

Is that categorical? Very relived if I can indeed believe that... thank you, here´s hoping!

Flew Saturday …17:50 Alicante to Stansted  Delayed about an hour n 15m.  Made up 30 mins in the air. No notification by text or email & no info given at airport as to why . ( May have been the strike or might have been something else. Who knows )
