I'm undergoing treatment for breast cancer and I am amazed that Hospital de Denia do not have a Linear Accelerator Radiotherapy machine. Anybody have any idea why? I'm guessing it's probably a cost thing. Not that it has been any great inconvenience to travel to Benidorm its just that Hospital de Denia have been fantastic and I think they deserve to have their own machine!

Thankfully you have received good care at Hospital Denia and hopefully find the radiation department at Benidorm will be as helpful.
To be fair, not every hospital in any country can be centers of excellence in all types of care.
Budgets and population size are big factors.
So they cannot have full radiation/chemo departments etc. Mostly they are located in the bigger cities.
