Having agreed for most of the refurbishment of our property in Las Rotas it is planned for completion pre Summer. I am seeking advice on suitable Rental Agencies to manage the villa, from advertising to the final clean. All recommendations welcome please.

I believe it is taking about 6 months to obtain the licence lately as so many owners are belatedly trying to get their properties legal. With the threat of closure (possibly mid-rental,) heavy fines and the authorities using all means possible to flush out the illegal rentals, it is not worth the risk. I believe the first stage is the local Ayuntamiento who will decide if a rental is appropriate in the area and there will be a visit to confirm room sizes, the biggest problem being that the main bathroom must be at least 4.5 m2. I can´t imagine they would visit until the renovations are complete and you can't even advertise until you have the licence and friends and family can only visit if it is totally free to them.
There may be different rules for agencies.
