I have a apartment near Denia and visit fairly often but when my husband and I hire a vechicle from the airport we seem to pay a lot for the fully comprehensive insurance are there cheaper insurance companies out there in spain
Yearly extras policy with Questor which covered as many trips as you made this covers tires under body damage and lost keys etc. you can get cover for 1 or more drivers all information is on the link below.

We use this company you must keep all receipts you wish to claim for and send them of with an explanation this can take a month but you get full refund very please with them.
The car hire companies will try to insist you take insurance with them but just say no I have full protection they will try to frighten you by saying we will have to hold up to 1000 euros on your card, just tell them to do it. saved us a fortune just make sure you take pictures of any damage when you collect the car from the hire company.
