National insurance number - How to apply?

My husband has a possible teaching job and needs to apply for his NI number and wondered if there is anyone can help us apply for this or what we should do
It's not an NI it's an NIE or 'Número de Identificación de Extranjero' which is the identification number in Spain for everyone who is not a Spanish citizen.
Nothing to stop you getting it yourself however because of severe backlogs due to Brexit getting an appointment at the police station can be difficult so if you are in a hurry you'd probably be better off using a Gestor.
Someone closer will no doubt be able to point you to one.
