Hi

We're coming to Denia September 5th for the first time so would welcome any tips!  One thing I'm trying to find out about is - we are arriving late Saturday evening and are self catering in an apartment in Casa Sampa which is on Carrer del Llavador. I've found supermarkets near us using Google but they will be shut by the tiem we arrive.  Are there any smaller shops open where we can buy milk, wine etc and some basic provisions to last us until Monday when the bigger shops are open?

Any advice gratefully receievd!

What time are you arriving? And are you driving from Alicante or Valencia?

Hi,

I am happy you are visiting Denia. You will love it ;)

I will tell you more if I find out more but at list I know an open supermarket on Sundays.

This is the link to a Google map.

Kind regards,

Luis.

There is a 24hour shop on the corner just before you get to Las Marinas near the Indian restaurant

No sorry I don't know the name of the road but it is right near the roundabout with the stainless steel object on it. Anyone along that promenade knows the 24hr shop so you should have no difficulty

Hi We were planning on a transfer but have decided to rent a car - landing at Alicante at 20.15 and then we'll be waiting for bags and queuing for car!
