I stayed in the Port Hotel Denia last night, Oct 1 and left my work card ("safepass") behind in my room.

I contacted the hotel and (eventually) got someone who could speak English and I explained what happened.

They retrieved the card - which I need for work but say it is "hotel policy" not to post it out - even though this card has my photo ID which of course would match that which I used when checking in! They have it at reception.

I seek a kind soul nearby who would call in, collect it and post to me in Ireland. I'm happy to cover postage. It is the same size as a credit card.

Bizarre indeed cos otherwise the hotel would have received a decent enough review...

Can anyone help?

...  will get you working  or where you were working  prior  to coming  to Spain they will have Photo copy of  your Safety card , you get all the Details  from Photo  copy  that is all Dates  issued  and numbers  and you can get a new card issued , if you have  no luck with getting  your original  Card

We have now stopped sending anything from Spain to the UK,and told all relatives at home never to send anything here.

I started using a courier at a local shop,but 50% of things weren't being delivered.

Hope you get the pass back soon.

Ireland, unlike UK is still part of EU which means that generally the postal system works alot better

Glad you’re sorted , I could have suggested that I collect as I’m coming to UK in early Nov and could have posted to you from UK .
