Are there any book shops in Denia selling books in English?

I havn't come across any yet Clare.
There is however an English pub just by the station and the last time I was in there they had an english book exchange.
Steve
Thanks for the information, Steve I will check the pub out!

It's much easier to get yourself a Kindle or other reader. Even with the initial cost of the reader, you'll save money in the long run.
If you're not bothered about depriving book sellers of their profit, and authors of their commission, the vast majority of books can be obtained free of charge.

I'm a little old fashioned with some things and this is one of them Jim. I like the feel of a book and I like turning the pages! Steve

I used to be like you, Steve, but I got fed up of scouring the charity shops looking for books I could read. Now I've got a reader, and know how to obtain books, I wouldn't like to go back to hard copies. Plus I've discovered so many good new authors, I'm collecting far more books than I'm reading.
If anyone that's computer literate wants any pointers on getting books, just ask.
Hi Clare43
Completely agree with Jim - wouldn’t go anywhere without my Kindle now. But...
Just scored a brilliant second novel in the Charity Shop in La Xara. There’s great bookshop on Carrer Patricio Fernandiz that has a good selection of new paperbacks in English - but at a price, of course. And I saw a stall in the mercado in Jabea that was giving them away.
I’ve only been here a couple of months (and I see this post is from last year) - others may have better tips. :-).
J.
