Anyone like carpentry?

Slightly unusual request this. I bought a flatpack sideboard from Jysk in Portal de la Marina four weeks ago. Got it home and unpacked it, lo and behold there was a piece missing, a crucial strut joining the two sides and supporting the drawers.
I went back and complained; of course it was the last pack in the shop so they couldn't cannibalise one, they'd have to order a replacement part. Four weeks later and it still hasn't turned up. I had a heated discussion with them today with no result, just shrugs and assurances that they'd phone me when it came in. I'll probably be in an old folks' home by then.
So I thought maybe a keen carpenter could knock one up for me, after all it's only a 840x50x18mm strip of wood with eight holes drilled into it. I'd do it myself but I don't have a 15mm wood drill for making the two holes to put in those round fixings so beloved of flatpack furniture makers, the ones that turn and grip the screwlike things with the round head to hold everything together.
So if anyone can help, costs covered and a couple of pints, please let me know.
