Will a UK television be ok any use in Spain.

The next decision is to decide on what English channel options are available and at what price.

We need to investigate further on this forum.  Do you have any recommendations?

A satellite dish will give you all the free channels, and with a good 1.4 metre dish will give you reliable reception. The only time we've ever lost a signal was for a short time during a torrential downpour.

Hi Spain is the same voltage as Uk Andre brought our telly ...no problem . Bring whatever you can as Spain tends to be expensive for electrical , I left a lot of my electrics thinking Spain was 110 volts? No it’s 220/30 , so save money and bring them , they will work !

And sign up for Netflix 8.99€ a month for 1000,s of  programmes films series etc Brilliant value ...and if you re cute enough , you can pay 10.99 and 3 other  family / friends can watch ....anywhere in the uk / Spain , probably a lot of other places for nothing , just use passcode ..making it a real bargain ,...and better than a 6’ sat dish , doesn’t give you British tv tho , if you want that ...just a thought to save money ,and better choice of viewing 

As others have said you will be okay with a U.K. television. Be very careful about IPTV, it is not all it is cracked up to be or what an installer might claim. You need a strong and stable internet connection otherwise your TV picture will freeze and you will loose channels at times. We were taken in, got no refund from our installer and had to look around for other options and got Mike at Satmart Installations ( www.satellitetvtorrevieja.com ) to install a 1.4 metre dish. No premium sports channels but at least we now have TV we can view and the plus side is I have to go to the pub to watch the football. Not sure if he covers your area but contact him for a free price quotation and what you get for your money.
