Hi Tony,

The FCO currently advises against all international travel; the only exceptions for people travelling to Spain is if they are Spanish Citizens or Residents returning to their primary residence, or for circumstances classed as force majeure.  Friends of mine travelled to Spain last week under the terms of force majeure, as their primary residence is in Spain, but the lockdown has prevented them from obtaining residency.  They did the Channel crossing via Eurotunnel, drove down through France to the border crossing at La Jonquera, and then on to San Fulgencio, where they own a property.  They had arranged appropriate documentation to prove their need to return to Spain and were allowed entry.

Kind regards,

Kim
