Hi there. I am hoping somebody might be able to help me. My Dad passed away last year after a long illness and I am trying to sort out his estate. He owned a property in Dream Hills but I’m guessing that none of the bills have been paid for, for some time. The problem is that I have no idea where to start to try and find out who his utility providers were. That includes any management or community fees. Any help would be appreciated.

For community fees talk to the president or secretary. For taxes talk to you council Dept. "Tributos". For utility bills look at your meter(s) to identify the provider(s) and find their local branch(es). Good luck.

Unfortunately I’m not able to view the meters and have no idea who the secretary or president are. I was hoping there was a contact number or email address for Dream Hills community group.

Assuming that he’s not  been sent any paper bills through to his post box, then I can only guess his bills were sent by email. Do you have access to his emails or to his bank account as you should be able to work out the suppliers through that.

Again if the community charge had not been paid I would have thought the administrators would send a letter.

“Council Tax”  is paid via the local SUMA office, but again they send invoices by post or email. This years payment is due in a few weeks time.

Maybe have a word with a solicitor  - as when a property is purchased they check to ensure there are no outstanding debts on the property, so they will know how to contact utilities etc. To be honest I have friends  who when their husbands have passed away, have had a horrendous time  transferring bills into their names, so I would recommend getting a solicitor involved.

DH Forum Kindly post FYI

Spain Urbanizacion Horizontal Law stipulates that any overhanging plant on adjacent neighbour that owner of airspace next door can take the onus of cutting the branch up to boundary party wall ONLY.

It is harrassment, bullying, elder abuse, mental trespassing warrants denuncia intervention by Guardia Civil and Policia or better go to court which is costly and dragging. Complainer used via managing agent signed NEIGHBOURS Who??? there are 800 plus properties in Dreamhills. Managing Agent should know better their neutral job NOT to collude with NEIGHBOURS FROM HELL complaining their customer service staff better learn their job description and Spain Urbanizacion La Ley. Also managing agent reference was wrong address I do not live there and when shown to Guardia Civil, officer just LAUGHED and told me to forget it.

My quad house is a holiday home and botanic garden is trimmed pruned mentained when I'm in resident. Plants had been devised to prevent street feral cats entering using my yard as toilet that caused me to be sick for 6 weeks this cat hide in my entrance glass enclosure balcony i was not aware was locked for more than fortnight as i used my kichen as entry/ exit while i painted my grilles white. Feral cat carried demodex airborne microscopic bacteria.  Neighbours From Hell adopted dirty street cat hiding inside I did NOT know no food nor water for 2 weeks was still alive. There were several cat same fur roaming  around then.

Be kind and friendly to Neighbours
