Dogs on trams

Hello, we are moving to El Campello in March. We have a 10 year old epileptic Springer Spaniel. We will not be buying a car and we are keen to know about transporting our dog on the tram system. I know dogs are not able to travel on board without being in a carrier/crate. Does anybody know if we are able to use one of the dog pushchairs? It’d be handy to know sonthat we can take her to the dog beach using the tram and to get into town in the warmer months. Thank you

Hi. Have spent a lot of time in Campello. I have never seen any animals on the Tram system. The regulations say:

Animals

Animals may not travel throughout the network, except:

Guide dogs for persons with disabilities or guide dogs in training with their trainers.
Dogs working with security forces.
Small pets in cages or pet carriers

I would suggest asking them directly but I suspect they will only accept pets in carriers. Hope this helps!

Hi, we have a dog who is too big for z carrier ( only a lab...nothing huge) are they allowed on buses and is there a regular bus service from el campello to alicante? Please and thank you x
