Advice on car insurance

Hi

I am looking for any advice on insurance for a

Spanish plate car. Preferably English speaking company. Can I use my UK Now claims discount?

I have two cars and a scooter all insured through Jennifer Cunningham/Liberty Seguros and at no time was NCB as much as mentioned.

Premiums we very reasonable nevertheless.

We used Liberty Seguros (via Britannia Legals). They took into account our UK NCB, but they took copies of our UK insurance documents to support the discount.

Alfonso at Gran Alacant insurance is brilliant, he is an agent for Liberty Seguros. However when we had the renewal I thought it wise to check prices elsewhere. Linea Directa were about the same, i explained and told them if the price was the same we do not need to change we will stay with Liberty. The assistant asked what would the premium need to be to change? I replied €50 less than i was quoted would make me change from Liberty, OK they replied. This meant a 15% saving, So they offered us the same cover for €50 less. All English speaking. Liberty did want to see proof of my NCB.

No problems with either insurers

Have lived in Bonalba few years back,looking to possibly return with UK car to long term rent property and gain employment. Any problems with insuring UK car over in Spain? Would make sure had UK cover to keep me going until sorted in Spain. Thanks
