We need to do some alterations in our bathroom, new bidet and toilet bowl.

I can do the work myself but how do we get rid of the old bowl and bidet?

Does anyone know someone who will collect and dump?

Hi James,

I think it depends on where you live, our agent told us to leave large items beside the bins on the road after 9:30 and a van drives round collecting. We left all the defunct white goods from our new home and they were taken away.

alternatively I have seen a public skip behind the police station on market days - not sure but I am assuming it is for disposal of large items too - might be worth checking out.

Surely the public skip on market days is for the disposal of items by the market traders, otherwise it would be there all the time. The council clean up the area when the market stops. The ecopark in Mutxamel is like the council tip back the UK. You have to take id with you to show you are from the area and not a business.

It wasn’t for the traders, it was a mini mobile recycling centre. There was a cabin where you could take batteries, coffee pods, mini electronics etc. Not seen it there in ages though, even before lockdown.

I was working on the principle that if it only appears when the market is on then it must be to do with the market.
