Most important is a good internet connection. 20 MBit/s is the bottom line, HD 4K needs 40-45Mbit/s. Hardware is easy to get, UK routers can only be used in Spain for phone connections after changing the wiring - quite easy. Some streams are considered as "ilegal", and the may be in UK but not necessarily in Spain where copyright protection is interpreted in a different way. Downloading/sreaming/copying of any protrected material is no offence as long as it's FOR YOUR OWN USE. Criminal action can and will only be taken when such material is used to obtain monetary benefits.

Most routers supplied by the resellers have built-in speed limiters, not all of them permitting overriding. You will need professional help for this problem or dive into the world of "hacking" the internet - quite fascinating.

I take it Michael you already have decent Broadband installed. You could buy an Amazon Firestick or similar for under €50. It is a simple plug & play device and just follow a few instructions & it will basically install itself  It’ll come loaded with a lot of Apps mainly from Amazon or similar but you will get some English entertainment and news and movie Apps to download onto it that are free and legal. You can download your own too by searching the net. Many UK main channels have their own Apps like BBC player, ITV HUB, All 4 for the Chan 4. These apps are legally free to download for viewers based in the UK. Some though do still provide them to folk living abroad and charge a fee for them. There are talks for a while to make these easier for people who have a TV licence in the UK to watch abroad especially for the BBC but as far as I know there has been no resolution yet. There are other Apps then like TVMucho that state they are legal & charge a small enough fee each month to provide the Free to Air Uk channels to anywhere in the world. The other option is you would need to download a VPN app to download and view these. The VPN (Virtual Private Network) gives you the option of changing your routers ISP address to any country you want & if you choose the UK you should be able to watch the ones I mentioned above without any problems. The VPN also stops your broadband provider knowing what you are watching or streaming. Having and using a VPN is quite legal and is simply used by many to protect their broadband from hackers.

Then of course as KJ said above there are also illegal providers out there then who sell IPTV Subscriptions to download apps to your device. There are vast amounts of these that bring illegal feeds & streams covering everything imaginable.

Anyway I’d say anyway providing you have reasonable Broadband, I run mine with 15Mbts, then the Firestick or something similar that won’t cost much to try out is worth a go.
Best of luck

You can simply buy an android streaming device from Amazon for about €80 and connect it to your internet services and to the TV.  All done within minutes. Download a TV service provider app and get UK tv.

I use the TVMucho tv streaming service which costs €48 per annum for 36 Channels and catchup. As mentioned before, there are other apps that are considered "illegal" but work perfectly well for free and you can get hundreds of Channels including sky etc.

You will need a good internet connection.
