We've just bought a property in El Campello as a holiday home.. The estate agent is currently switch all the utilities over to our name, but unfortunately the wifi was connected to the previous owners phone number..so we're going to need a new supplier... as we will be just there for holidays, we basically just need wifi/internet? Anyone have any suggestions?  thanks

Thanks - I saw a few people recommending this company, but there are a lot of people complaining about the after sales service... or lack of it... thanks will do some research on them.

Great thanks  - hubby will be happy.... I was hoping to stall it a bit so he would't have to work during his holidays, but that's for the advice!

Log on to your nearest pub/restaurant WiFi. They are happy to oblige if you in range. Otherwise Aeromax do a deal for only the time you are in residency. Regards, Alex in Coveta Fuma.

Hi, just moved to Coveta Fuma, had internet installed today. Thought I would post a few things as I struggled a bit only speaking basic Spanish.  I used television technology for TVs, and they recommended Aeromax.  Had to wait 6 days to have internet installed but hayhoo!  We live near the mountain so we're a little worried about connection.  Needed a strong connection for working from home.  Aeromax arrived exactly on time, installer was very polite and helpful.  Got 25G.  Cost a little pricey but needed it so..... 140€ for installation and box, and monthly cost 36€.  Took two hours.  ( I think they do charge more if they take longer).  Hope this helps!!!!!

GOod luck!

Thanks we checked with the people in the complex where we have a house, and they were all with Movistar, so went along to the local shop where between our pigeon Spanish and the staff member's pigeon English we managed to get the wifi installed in about 8 working days (meant to be 5...), but the good part about it was that my husband couldn't work for those 8 days!!  So was forced to have a holiday! We're meant to have 100mb..... not quite sure about that.... but better than back home!! We brought a skyhd box and got someone local to hook it up to the giant satellite dish that the previous owner kindly left on the rooftop terrace..(guess would have been difficult to dismantle that)...so just have the Freesat channels via a Spanish tv...which hopefully we'll eventually understand more of!  I think we pay about the same per month, but that would have included Spanish tv (with a rented decoder), landline and 2 mobile phones....which don't get much use but useful for having for emergencies etc... Good luck it's all a bit of a learning curve... there's one thing trying to learn Spanish on-line and speaking it!!
