Garage Door remote control Remocon Ref RMC 550CS
The former owner left us a few spart remote controls for the garage door - they're the black model with white buttons of Remocon RMC 550CS. Does anyone know where we can get other copies made in El Campello. The reason why I'm asking is that last year we felt the battery needed to be replaced in one and went along to the shop in the CC Carrefour, where the guy said it was 'dead' and sold us a newer model RS Remocon Spain (as opposed to the original one from Taiwan). ref RMC 265CM
The problem with the newer red/grey model is that there is no 'lock' on it to stop the buttons from accidentally be pushed and open the garage door...as we learned the hard way when we'd flown out from Alicante and our neighbour told us the garage door was open.
We'd prefer to try and get more copies of the 'older' model to avoid this problem happening again... we went back to the guy who sold it to us but he maintains that the older model are no longer being made, and the newer model definitely doesn't have the 'block' function of the older one.
any advice appreciated !
