I am thinking of renting from October to March. I am a keen but not v good golfer, 28 hcap, what is the golf scene for over 60s like?

You need to ask around in El Campello, bound to be at least one local bar with a golf society based in it, the one I am in in Gran Alacant has a wide range of ages all the way up to the 80's and I would expect most to be similar, a mix of retired ex pats and younger holiday visitors, they play every week, courses near you include Bonalba and Alicante Golf, both courses can be enjoyed by high h/caps, I am off 24 myself.

No idea about golf but make sure that you find somewhere that has heating as you will need it.

El Plantio between Alicante and airport... very good course for highhanicapers and lovely club house, 1round , hired clubs with a buggy very reasonably priced !!
