Hello,

I'm doing a bit of research on Alkabir complex for a potential holiday next year - Google Maps say there is no supermarket / shop for groceries nearby at all! I can see we can get the tram no problem, but is there nothing in the complex / nearer to grab like some bread / beers / juice / water etc? Otherwise Alkabir looks a great location for trips etc.

Thanks in advance :)

Hi, there are no shops on Alkabir, but there is an Aldi down the Main road 332 about a 10 min walk. The 2 mercadona in El Campello will deliver when u spend over €25 just go in do ur shop show I D then they will give u a choice of delivery times. There are a couple of supermarkets as u get off the tram in El Campello so handy for picking up bits. I hope this helps 😀

Thanks Angela :) Again, using google maps it didn't look like you could walk down the 332. So that's great, thank you! I also saw we could get the tram along a bit to get to more :)

Personally I wouldn't choose to walk along the 332 - and it's about a mile to get to the Aldi.

The tram into town however is a good option - and there's a SuperCorr next to the tram stop.

The Supercor next to Campello Tram is good but expensive. A 7 or 8 minute walk up Avda. Germanías there is a Mercadonna which is much better.

Far better to focus on holiday lets adjacent to the tram line. Try looking at the village of Coveta Fuma which has a pleasant square with bars and restaurants, a small supermarket and is conveniently situated for tram travel north to Benidorm and south to Alicante.
