I have apartment and I would like to know if police in area do checks on places as I have been unable to travel out for over a year due to health issue and covid.
There are thousands of empty houses and apartments all over the Costa and while the Police do a great job it would be impossible to check individual properties. Much better if you have the contact details for any of your neighbours or the Administrator / President if you are in a Community.

Sorry but I was only trying to help. When I said empty I meant no one was in the property, from what you have now said I do not know what you mean by "how many are staying in this without my consent"

There are people in it but I think they may have other people moved in with them . I would like to know who is in my property . These other people were asked to move before covid however will not move .
I have tried everything asking them to move as I need financially to sell and not well enough to come out to it at the moment. I even offered to pay for them deposit on another place . Just so worried who is in this apartment . They wont answer any messages just ignore me knowing I cant do anything . I feel so helpless being here in england . I was on holliday a cruise and they put these people in the apartment ..These are very nice romanian family but everything sgent told me was untrue and agreement is not legal so solicitor says . This property is my nightmare I only purchased as my dear friend I brought home to england and she needed money to go in nursing home so I paid for flat hoping to sell it later . This went wrong when robinsons put there own people in when it was for sale with immo 2000 . I just want the people to move and will just sell it off cheap to rid of it . However I need to know what is going on inside it .

In your original post you did not mention that the problem was that there were people illegally staying in the property. Sorry for the confusion. I would refer you to Alex´s earlier reply.

You mention a solicitor who told you what was happening is not legal---that is the person you need to contact. I would not contact the police, at the moment it is an unconfirmed, civil matter, if you can show it is a criminal matter, only then involve the police.
Just a thought, as you can't visit yourself because of illness etc, do you have a family member or friend who could come & visit on your behalf with you paying some of the cost of their visit if that helps? At least they coul d get confirmation of who is there & some advise on how to deal with it.

You need to contact a reputable solicitor as that is the best route to go down.
