As I am quite sensitive to chemicals etc, the only hair colour product I can use is Aveda semi-permanent colour (I get a reaction after the patch test for the permanent colour) I was wondering whether anyone has any recommendations of any of the Aveda hair salons in Alicante? thanks!

I do not know of Aveda, however I have a similar problem and cannot use chemicals.  I have been getting my hair tinted with “barro” which is natural hair color from henna based products.  It took them awhile to get the color correct since it is not an exact process but more artistic to mix the correct shades.  I have highlights as well and no red since my hair is dark brown.  It’s so easy on my scalp, (no chemical burning), and I feel better using this option. Many salons in Alicante have this option.

Thanks I'll have to do some research on it.. I also have very dark hair but when exposed to the sun it does tend to go lighter with slightly reddy tones..which is definitely why I'd been avoiding henna..... !  thanks will try and find out about salons nearby who use it..
