We are coming to el compello in March ,hopefully this is when the season starts please advise,and also is their a market in the town.

Hi. We have been staying in El Campello for December and January. The weather here has been very pleasant. Average temperature is about 17-18C. Occasionally hitting 21C. Occasionally you will get a depression and this will cause a few days of poor weather. We have just had five days of bad weather but today is back to being sunny. Agreed I wouldn’t go in the sea (except for a paddle!) and generally pools aren’t heated. But generally day to day it is bright, sunny and pleasant. There is a market on Sundays (mercatplabarraques.com). And on Wednesday there is a market around the town hall. Although the season hasn’t started really that is half the charm. We come to Campello every winter. Lovely climate, friendly people and excellent transport.

Hello John, I see that someone has answered your question but just to confirm there are markets on Wednesday and Sundays, if you look at neighboring towns you could attend a market almost every day of the week.
