A couple of sites for you to peruse in the meantime are:

Citizens Advice Bureau Spain regarding general queries that you will have, and

N332 for anything to do with driving in Spain. The site is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people.

Hi we have only been there a couple of times out of season and really like the place so thinking of buying a holiday home/apartment could you advise areas to avoid or recommend as you obviously know the area well. Thanks

My wife and i moved to Busot last year which is just a few KM away from El Campello. Its a lovely area with everything that you need close by.

I have lived in Almoradí, about 20 minutes’ drive inland from Torrevieja, since 2005. It is a very multi-cultural town. There is a very good health centre, a bus station, at least 7 supermarkets, lots of different shops, bars, restaurants, churches, post office and a large market every Saturday morning that takes over several streets in the centre of town. There are also many parades and fiestas throughout the year.
