Hi we are June and Mick.
We have been visiting the El Campello region since the early 1990s

In fact we are due to visit in 5 weeks time but unclear whether we are allowed

The apartment is booked. In fact we transferred the dates from last year.

Our original flights have been cancelled but other flights are available.

The trouble is as U.K. citizens we are not allowed to enter Spain at the moment and unclear when the border will be open.
Also Spain is not on the U.K. government green list. It is on the amber list so not completely off limits but government advise is not to travel for leisure purposes.

We will just have to wait and see whether we can travel before we book any flights

Hi. I hope you make it but it's hard to predict at the moment. Spain wants to welcome visitors soon and the UK seemed near to wanting travel to start again. It's just a waiting game to see how it goes especially with the Indian variant in the UK now. We are booked to return on the ferry to the UK on 3rd July but I don't know if we will make it. We're not going if it means tests and quarantine. We can amend our booking for free so can go another time. It's just down to the politicians. Fingers crossed !
