Colmar camping
Hi does anyone own a mobile home here, if so do you recommend it, is it walking distance to the tram and beach, are there any bars or shops nearby.

Easy walking distance to tram. Site is adjacent to Colmar restaurant and bar (very good) and Browns restaurant which is underneath rhe Colmar restaurant. One stop on tram to Coveta Fuma village whose square hosts several restaurants and bars (my favourite bar is Los Dos). Three tram stops to El Campello, the major nearby town which has a great promenade and beach with all facilities. The tram stop for the Colmar site is Cala Piteris but there is no beach there. Hope this helps. Alex.

Hi I have stayed at colmer often you do need to be reasonably fit and enjoy walking , the hill from the tram is gradual but there is a short cut a rough lane half way up to the site ,otherwise you have to walk along a very fast motorway to colmar enterence.
But if you have a car it's safer ,
I was always on foot ,you can reach the shop in coveta fuma by foot from the site its roughland and a climb , ok going down and tram back with shopping ,
It's a bit of a slog on foot if your over 65 .
Especially in high temperatures.
The site is lovely , if you get a good pitch .

Good morning,
I know it's a while since your post but could you please tell me how far you are from the main road and can you hear it from the campsite.
Many thanks
Kath

You can hear the busy motorway 🛣 on certain times depending on where your caravan is sited
Colmar is on the main highway but has some roughland close by .
There are walks into nearby village shop if your fit and have appropriate footwear .
