Hi,

Can anyone recommend someone to hold my hand through the NIA Visa process?

I gather it is fairly straight forward, but an happy to spend a few shillings to guide me through the process etc.

Cheers David

Non Lucrative Visa.  Means I can stay here but I would still be a resident of the UK, although it isn't a Spanish working Visa.

But can work on line for overseas clients/companies.

Thanks

Thank you for that, I am not good with the modern idioms of replacing words with letters.   I would suggest that you have a look at the Tips and Guides on this site as well as the Citizens Advice Bureau Spain website.   You may be able to glean some information from either of them.

Hello David

A Non Lucrative Visa is for applicants who intend to retire to Spain permanantly & not work, making you a resident - it is not for being resident  in the UK.

I am sending you a link to explain this .......http://www.exteriores.gob.es/Consulados/LONDRES/en/Consulado/Pages/Visas.aspx?fbclid=IwAR0xMqhqHmEKBIff9XqYT9E6SLp-1cfG5WQqDfxajoVj2zCNqoLX8WqmZ

I am unsure which of the other visas available might  suit your needs, but all are explained here, just scroll past the Spanish forms & you'll get to them in English

Cheers

You can work from home in the UK with a non lucrative visa but you can't work in Spain.
